Step 1 — Sign up and access the Funnels/Pages area

1. Sign up or log in. Go to Systeme.io and sign in. If you need the link: Open Systeme.io (use this link).
2. Open the "Funnels" or "Pages" area. On the left sidebar you’ll see Funnels (preferred for full funnels) and a Blog/Website or Pages area. For a single landing page, choose Funnels > Create. You can also use Pages if your plan supports it.
3. Choose "Create a new funnel". Click the button that says Create (or "+ New funnel"). Give your funnel a name (e.g., "Lead Magnet Funnel") and choose the goal: Collect leads or Sell product. Click Create.

Why use a funnel? Even if you only want one page, adding it inside a funnel makes it easy to add a thank-you page, autoresponder, and tracking later. If you're sure you only want a page, you can create a single page inside the funnel.

Step 2 — Choose a template

Systeme.io offers many templates for opt-ins, webinar pages, sales pages and thank-you pages. Templates save time and give you a solid layout.

1. After creating your funnel, click Add step then name the page (e.g., "Opt-in - Free Guide"). Select the type: Opt-in page or Sales page.
2. Click Choose a template. Browse templates and preview them. Choose one that matches your goal: clean headlines, visible form, and a clear CTA button.
3. Click Select. The chosen template opens in the page editor.

Step 3 — Edit the headline & subheadline (the most important part)

Step 4 — Add or replace the hero image

A good hero image supports the promise (a person, the product, or a screenshot). If you're building an opt-in, show the lead magnet cover or a phone screenshot.

1. Click the image in the template, then choose "Replace image". Upload your image or paste a URL.
2. Set the image alt text (important for SEO). Use a short description: e.g., "Free guide cover - 7 steps to earn online".
3. Mobile check: use the mobile preview in the editor to ensure the image doesn't push the call-to-action below the fold.

Step 5 — Configure the opt-in form (collect emails)

If your goal is to collect leads, connect the form to Systeme.io's internal email automation or to an external autoresponder (if you use one).

1. Click the form area (the email input and button). In the properties panel, set the action to Subscribe to an autoresponder or Add contact.

Step 6 — Build the Thank You page

Always have a thank-you page. It confirms the signup and can deliver the lead magnet or show next steps (e.g., "Check your email").

1. Add a new step in the funnel: Thank you page or Download page.
2. Choose a simple template and add a headline like: "You're in! Check your inbox." Add a button to Download your guide (use the file link) or show the next recommended action.
3. If you want to upsell, add a short offer box with a "Special one-time offer" button that leads to a payment page (optional).
